About the Bird Sanctuary
Meadowbrook Bird Sanctuary is a non-profit organization in Abington, PA that is dedicated to preserving an open green space and promoting bird conservation. Our park is home to a diverse range of bird species.
Our Park's History
Meadowbrook Bird Sanctuary was developed in 2002 by concerned neighbors with the help of Abington Township, Abington Environmental Council, the Rydal-Meadowbrook Civic Association, and volunteers to restore the property to its natural state after a sewer project. Through donations, grants, and support from neighbors, the plan to reclaim and beautify this space was born!
